Only YOU can make the Denver
auction a success. Fun donations make a fun auction, and as many
of you know, our GNSI Auction is like no other!
This is no dry affair like the ones you see on TV.
Our auctioneers are guaranteed to be entertaining. The atmosphere
of the voice auction is part show, part business and part lively
competition. Active bidding gets the good stuff!. Even at the
silent auction, attendees get intense, hovering over their favorite
finds.
Now were does this good stuff come from? You know,
from you! Think out of the box and make the kind of interesting
donations that you would want to bid on yourself. Did you pick
up some unusual souvenirs on a trip? Did you create a masterpiece
that you can part with? Can you find a book, video or supplies
that you no longer use? Can you offer special services such as
hosting a private art or computer lesson? If all else fails, can
you go out and buy something to donate to the auction? Watch for
sales, get a bargain and pass it along. If everyone in the Guild
could contribute even one item, we would be sure to have a successful
auction. The more interesting the good stuff, the more interesting
and fun the auction will be.
If you can not attend the Denver conference, please
send donations in advance to Marjorie Leggitt, 1905 Jasmine St.
Denver, CO 80220.
Thanks!
Cathy Gaber
Please note that the new auction chairpeople are Jane Neroni
and Julie
Kulak, who graciously agreed to step in when we found we could
not attend
the meeting ourselves. Thanks Jane and Julie!
