Portfolio Sharing
Bring your portfolio for an evening of greeting and networking. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a novice, bring what you have so we know what you do. Be prepared to accept compliments and don’t be afraid to ask for some constructive criticism – after all, your portfolio is often the first-impression maker. Don’t forget your business cards!

GNSI Annual Art Exhibit
Mingle with fellow artists and UW staff at the beautiful Ebling Library, part of the Health Sciences Center at UW-Madison. The GNSI Exhibit will be the Library’s inaugural exhibit, making it very special indeed. Our artwork will not be the only thing on display. There will be an exhibit of the Library’s special collections running concurrently with and complimenting our exhibit, a formal hanging of the poster session, and the traveling exhibit on display throughout the three floors of the Library. During the afternoon on Monday we will be scheduling small group visits to the Ebling Library’s vault, which contains many wonderful rare prints and books. This will be a very special opening to a very expansive and inclusive exhibit.

GNSI Auction
Clean your studio, stow away great finds at quirky stores, and think of fun & functional things to bring to the annual fund-raising event for the GNSI’s Education Fund! The annual auction is so much fun and is so entertaining that it’s easy to remember that the money raised at this event goes right back to local chapters to help pay for local workshops and speakers. There will be cheese (hey, we’re in Wisconsin!), crackers, and a bar. Cheers! |

Chiquita Auctianna has only a couple of pencils and an old moldy eraser for the auction. Send your donations NOW! Contact Kapi Monoyios for more information.

Annual Banquet
Enjoy a summer evening and sunset at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens, a sixteen-acre landscaped paradise. The grounds include many spectacular specialty gardens, the Bolz Conservatory, featuring tropical plants and free-flying birds, and the Thai Pavilion. This pavilion, or “sala”, is one of only three in the U.S. It was created in Thailand, shipped to the U.S., and re-assembled by the Thai artisans at the Olbrich Gardens. We’ll arrive early enough for everyone to have a chance to walk the gardens and relax a bit, then we’ll enjoy a dinner catered by The White Horse Inn.
