Annual GNSI Education Fund Auction, 7 PM Deadline for MailingJune 23, 2007 Entry Form

The images maybe original art or reproductions. Of course original art usually brings a higher price to benefit the Education fund (hint hint).
Sketchbook Exhibit
Montana State University, Bozeman, MT: July 1521, 2007
Deadline for EnteringMay 15, 2007
For Guild members who sketch nature, here’s a chance to show those quick representations, whether abbreviated to the essence or elaborate with detail, in an exhibit at the Guild Conference in Bozeman at Montana State University’s Renne Library. This is a non-juried show and there are two methods by which members can participate.
Option One: an exhibit that will display sketchbooks and copies of additional pages displayed in a binder.
Option Two: an exhibit of digital images from sketchbooks; displayed as a PowerPoint presentation.
Option 1Sketchbooks & Copied Pages Presentation
If you would like to participate in Option One please submit the following via email to tiffany@tiffanygagnon.com no later than May 15:
Your name, address, phone & email,
Dimensions of your sketchbook,
Display orientation (vertical or horizontal),
Insurance value. Artists are responsible for insuring their books in transit to/from the conference. While on display in the MSU Renne library sketchbooks will be in locked cases under Plexiglas.
You may also submit up to ten additional pages copied from your sketchbook to fit in 8.5” x 11” sheet protectors. These pages will be displayed in a binder beside the exhibit. Please mail pages by May 15, 2007 to the following address: Tiffany Gagnon, 169 Old Field Rd., Setauket, NY 11733
Sketchbooks will need to be dropped off on Sunday, July 15, (the first day of the conference) at the portfolio and sketchbook sharing sessions. Artists will need to pick up their books by the end of the conference, Sunday, July 22. (Specific times will be provided to you at a later date.)
Please note: We are limited in the amount of display space we have this year. If we receive too many books to fit in our allotted space, sketchbooks will be included on a first-come-first-served basis. The artists whose books cannot be included in the display will be notified and given the chance to display copied pages from their sketchbooks in the binder as well as in the PowerPoint presentation.
Option 2PowerPoint Presentation
If you would like to participate in the PowerPoint presentation please submit the following no later than May 15, 2007 to Tiffany Gagnon: via email: tiffany@tiffanygagnon.com , or via CD-ROM: Tiffany Gagnon, 169 Old Field Rd., Setauket, NY 11733
Up to 6 electronic images ready to be shown (file names labeled with artist’s last name and image priority e.g. Gagnon_1.jpg). Please submit JPEG images no larger than 300 KB.
If you are sending a CD-ROM, please indicate what you would like us to do with the CD after the exhibit; e.g. “destroy CD,” “return CD,” “Hold CD for return” at the conference (If you would like the CD returned to you, please include return postage; otherwise it will be responsibly destroyed.)
