I take a lot of photographs wherever I go, and keep them as inspiration for my own future paintings or drawings, or for my illustration work. This painting is from a photograph I took at Binder Park Zoo on a beautiful early fall day. I loved the gamut of color changes in both the leaves and berries, and the soft sheen of the autumn sun on both.
