Purpose: Commissioned for "Vanishing Circles" art collection/exhibition for the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum Art Institute. The collection is focusing on rare or at risk plants and animals in the Sonoran Desert.
The five sea turtles found in the Sea of Cortez are depicted, along with some of their main food sources, and conveys a sense of motion of these animals and their environment.
