Most of the illustrations produced in this book are based on first hand observations of dissections performed by the primary author. The dissections were photographed and video taped. The illustrations were created at my home studio because of time constraints in the lab. Visual information was sometimes supplemented as per relevant scientific references and consultation with primary author.
