Purpose: Portfolio: Dried Plant Series
In 1998, I began painting as a hobby. I avoided formal art classes as I did not want "rules" to clog my creativity. Soon I discovered pure enjoyment in representing a plant's image. Since that time I have been privileged to have solo exhibitions and also be included in group botanical exhibitions in the United States and Europe. My work is included in The Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation. Amongst my awards is a silver medal from The Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society in Edinburgh, Scotland.
