Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators members were asked to illustrate flowers from all regions of the USA for the 2007 Philidelphia Flower Show. Knowing that the Southeastern states were likely to be inadequately represented, I chose to submit a rendering of the yellow trillium. It is often grown as an ornamental in gardens and arboreta south of Philadelphia.
