James Gurney: "Dinotopia: Behind the Scenes"
Please join us for a special presentation by James Gurney, author and illustrator of the New York Times bestseller "Dinotopia: A Land Apart from Time" on Monday, July 21st, from 10:30 am - Noon in Emerson Suites B and C in Phillips Hall of the Campus Center at Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY. His presentation, "Dinotopia: Behind the Scenes", is a feature keynote as part of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators annual conference and will be followed by a book signing and sale of "Dinotopia".

GNSI Members' Juried Art Exhibit
The Guild of Natural Science Illustrators will be having their annual GNSI Members' Juried Art Exhibit in the Hartell Gallery on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, NY, in conjunction with their annual conference, July 13-26, 2008. Gallery hours are M-F, 8 am-5 pm. Come and enjoy stunning artwork by award winning artists of the Guild.

Bird Songs in Music Recital
Bird Songs in Music Recital will take place in Barnes Hall on the Cornell University Campus in Ithaca, NY, on Wednesday, July 23, from 5-6 pm. For bird and piano lovers alike, this is a recital of music written for the instrument, using as themes notations of several species of native bird voices heard at Peterborough, New Hampshire and in the Sierra Mountains of California, by two American women composers. Other nature inspired music will be played.
