The following events are open to the general public. Please feel free to stop by and enjoy what the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators has to offer. We extend an especially warm invitation to the UMFK community and the residents of Fort Kent and the surrounding area.

40th Annual Scientific Illustration Exhibit

Month of July
Location: Acadian Archives/Archives Acadiennes
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM

The GNSI's 40th Annual Scientific Illustration Exhibit will be on display at the Acadian Archives/Archives Acadiennes through the month of July. It will feature works by GNSI members demonstrating art in the service of science.

Eyes on Fine Arts Exhibit

Location: Blake Library
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM

The Eyes on Fine Arts Exhibit will feature works by GNSI artists that don't necessasrily fall into the strict category of scientific illustration. Many of our members are active in other fields as well and the Fine Arts Exhibit will provide the opportunity for them to show another side of their work. The exhibit will be displayed at the Blake Library during the month of July.

Publications Exhibit

Location: Blake Library
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM

The Publications Exhibit will be on display near the entrance to the Blake Library during the month of July. On display and available for the public to leaf through will be books and other publications illustrated and/or written by GNSI members. A first edition Guild Handbook will also be on display.
