Internet Access
Apartments are wired with ethernet ports to access the internet with your personal computer. To gain access to this wired system, you are required to purchase a ResNet pass at the rate of $5.00 per access code per day, and bring your own ethernet cord. This pass is good for any computer on campus. You will receive your ResNet password in the conference packet only if you purchase the access.
For those who do not bring their own computer, for $5 per day you may use the computer lab located in Wolf Village. You will receive the computer code with your conference packet.
There is no charge to log onto the wireless network. There are some hotspots like the library and the common areas of the residence hall; however, most apartments do not receive the signal. McKimmon is wireless and access is free. When using the wireless network, please log on as a NCSU guest.
