Accomodations
Enjoy your stay at NCSU!
The North Carolina State University campus promises to be a great place to learn and socialize during the 2010 GNSI conference. In addition to the information about housing, dining, intenet, and parking, we wanted to share the following info on health & safety.
Getting Your Exercise
We have free access to a gym in Building D of the Wolf Village
Apartments. There is a volleyball net next to the apartment, but you will
need to bring your own ball.
The greenway trails around the area also provide excellent exercise options.
But please use caution! North Carolina drivers are supposed to yield to
pedestrians, but sadly, they do not. Before you step out onto a road, even
if you have the right of way, look both ways before you cross. There are
many, many miles of wonderful greenway and bike trails in the Raleigh area.
Use caution when riding on the road or crossing a road.
1. Centennial campus below has a walking trail with work exercise stations on the trail
2. How long does it take to walk to where I'm going on campus?
3. The greenway trail at the museum connects with the greenway system: See how it connects and see the map of the entire greenway system.
