GNSI DC: February 2002 Meeting Report-
Dinosaur Draw-In at the Smithsonian
by Britt Griswold

A number of fresh faces came to out February Dinosaur Draw-In in the Paleontology Hall at the National Museum of Natural History. We got a close look at the new Triceratops exhibit discussed at the January meeting. Mary Parrish did a first rate job making us all feel welcome. Hot cider and cookies (plus traditional guild snacks) were served in the FossiLab part of the exhibit. Several people brought family members and friends. Below are some photos snapped at the event. The quiet atmosphere was an unusual treat, as was the feeling of privalage for having the whole place to ourselves!
